Adults
We're committed to equipping adults with authentic, challenging education about Christ, His church, and His teachings. Men's Ministry is dedicated to providing men with pathways for spiritual growth through Christian fellowship, effective discipleship, and mission outreach. Our Women's Ministry seeks to evangelize, encourage and equip women in their personal walk with Jesus Christ through Christian fellowship, learning and service.
Children
Children's Ministries mentors children from birth to know, love and follow Jesus Christ, and to help their families become deeply committed Christians.
Missions
Our Missions Ministry develops deeply committed Christians by sending members of our congregation into our community, denomination and world to make disciples and serve others in ways that honor God, share Christ, transform lives for all eternity.
Music
We are committed to glorifying God with our entire being and that especially means with our voices. Our Adult and Youth Choirs are a joy to see and listen to. This group is delighted to set the "tone" of each and every worship experience - realizing how important music is to worship!
Technology
Through our Technology Ministries our folk are seeking to get the Word of God into our world, locally as well as abroad. Utilizing the internet and DVD technology those who could not ordinarily be present can still enjoy the worship experience of Frist Baptist Church.
Youth
Our mission is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious students are becoming deeply committed Christians. We accomplish this mission by equipping parents, adults and staff, as well as offering contemporary programs to lead students into a deeply committed faith.

New Deacons

Congratulations to our new deacons who have been selected to serve our God and His church:  Tim Hardy (left with family) and Dempsey Hill (right with family)!  Thank-you to Johnny Stroud and Curtis Rains for their faithful service these past three years.

Tim will serve as our Deacon Chairperson; Randy Smith will serve as our Deacon Vice Chairperson; and Kendall Huffman will serve as our Deacon Secretary.

Enclosed you will find our new Deacon Family Ministry assignments.  If anyone has been overlooked please contact Pastor Dave so this oversight can be remedied immediately.

Where Will You Serve?

We can change the world...one person at a time!

Did you know...there is much that needs to be done!  There is more our church can do!  There are more people who need to know Jesus Christ as Savior.  None of us have reached the pinnacle of what Christ would have us be...and this certainly includes your pastor.

I have enclosed a description of some of our opportunities and ministries available for you to serve God and His church this coming year.  I ask you to prayerfully consider where God would have you use your talents.  Together there is much we can do for His kingdom.  If there is a ministry God has laid on your heart for our church please let Pastor Dave know how you can help get it going.

Our Nominating Committee members (listed below) will be awaiting your response to the position(s) you will serve for this coming year.  A cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12)—as we serve and work together we become more like the people God created us to be!
