BLESSING OF THE BAGS...AUGUST 29 @ 11 AM
Our annual event is done to anoint with prayer our teachers and our students. We do this because we recognize the mission field in our own community. There are many who are searching, who need encouragement and hope, and who have not experienced the love of Jesus in their lives.
We pray for our teachers’ effectiveness and ministry as well as protection. We pray for our students ability to learn and comprehend as well as their ministry and protection. We’ve experienced many blessings as well as tragedies...yet in everything we seek to be faithful to God!
Our desire is for His will to be accomplished in all our lives and to make a positive impact in our “Jerusalem” (our home town)!
All students (college included) and teachers are encouraged to come, participate, and allow us to pray for you and for the great work you continually to!
2 Chronicles 7:14...claim the promise!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - 2010
Our time at Saddle Ridge Ranch was great! Each day brought all involved a little closer to God as we dug a little deeper into His Word. Some of our discussions:
1. People are the crowning act of creation...demonstrating how much God values and loves us.
2. Since God’s love for us is unconditional, we can trust Him regardless of what happens.
3. God, due to His great love for us, offers salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. Pleasing God requires prayer, worship, ministry, and service.
5. God expects His people to live lives in such a way as to honor Jesus.
Thank-you to our Co-Directors (Jill & Katherine) and the many others who taught, led, fed, set-up, and otherwise made our Bible School successful.
Remember, the ministry we provide today could very well mean a life or lives changed for an eternity...well done, good and faithful servants!
Summer Kick-Off Celebration

Fellowship is always good and with the heat outside, fellowship at the pool is especially good. Here are more pictures for you to reminisce and enjoy...thanks to Mike & Jill Deriso for the candid shots!

Valentine's Banquet - 2010
WOW! We are so very blessed...great cooks, super servers, wonderful entertainers, and awesome fellowship! I would imagine if we had hot dogs and beans our people would make a feast out of it. The pork chops were huge, tender, and very tasty. The turkey tenderloin (my favorite) is always mmmm good! The desserts—fabulous! For all your efforts...thank-you! You made our Valentine’s Banquet a success with your helping, giving, serving, and loving! Raising nearly $900 for our Youth is another plus! Is it any wonder why we are so pleased to be part of God’s church here at Deep Run?!
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Choir, you have ensured us It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! With your joy, talent, and willingness to lead us in worship every Sunday we are truly blessed! On December 20th we have been especially blessed during our Christmas Cantata.
This message in song and drama “touched” the lives of all who were present! Your practices, rehearsals, and commitment shown through as again you ministered to us and brought us closer to the One whose birthday we celebrate during Christmas.
I’ve said it before...you are the best choir and we are so thankful we get to hear you every week!
A Children's Christmas Carol
