“NOEL...Night of Everlasting Love”

Worship with us as our choir sings a compelling collection of timeless Christmas classics.  These beloved traditional songs tell the amazing story of Jesus’ birth with tenderness, majesty, and exuberant energy.  We look forward to celebrating Jesus Christ—God’s gift to us—through our Adult Choir Cantata during our 11 am worship service on December 21.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Our offering goal for this year will be $1,200.  All monies go directly to our foreign missionaries who have given up the comforts of home and family to spread the Gospel, some in hostile environments.

As you give, please pray for these families who have dedicated their lives to sharing Jesus.

Poinsettias...

We are receiving donations  for “In Memory Of” and/or “In Honor Of” those you love.  You may designate who the poinsettias are for by signing the roster by the organ.  Remember there are no poinsettias purchased instead all monies go to our Lottie Moon Offering.

The list will be published in our December 21st bulletin.  Thank-you in advance for giving so God’s Word can be spread throughout our world!

Bible Study Ideas...

Realizing the importance of study, worship, and fellowship I am looking for your ideas to what we could do to make our mid-week services better.  I realize we all have different tastes and styles, but that should not interfere with God’s people coming together as often as we can.

So what I’m looking for is your ideas—what are some things you would like to see us do on Wednesday nights (or other times throughout the week).  Some things to consider are:

1. Bible Study—working our way through books in the Bible

2. Bible Series—like Beth Moore or Henry Blackaby, etc.

3. Small Groups—topical or series studies for a small group of 10—12 people

4. Worship Service—less formal than Sunday mornings with singing, testimony, and study

These are only some ideas and I’m interested in yours.  Please let me know what your church can do to make our mid-week services better for you!

I will have a questionnaire in a future bulletin this month for you to respond.  However, you don’t have to wait until then to let me know.

Thank you for your prayers and for your input in making us a better more effective example of Christ in action within our community.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15)
